Worked planning example

A 50 ft wall uses a drainage zone 12 in wide and 3 ft high. The geometric aggregate volume is 150 ft³, or 5.56 yd³. Adding 12% for settlement and handling gives 6.22 yd³. Pipe length includes the wall run, outlet extension and fittings.
