BuildMeter converts every input to a consistent internal unit, applies the selected allowance, and rounds products up to whole purchasable units.
Net wall area = perimeter × height − openings. Repeat and waste allowances are applied sequentially. Rolls = order area ÷ usable roll coverage, rounded up. Project cost adds material, preparation and installation.

Why is usable roll coverage lower than the printed roll area?+
Pattern matching, wall height and trimming can reduce the area that each roll can cover in practice.
Should every opening be deducted?+
Large doors and windows usually should be deducted. Small openings may be offset by extra cutting and matching waste.
Does the labor estimate include wall repair?+
