Methodology
Transparent calculation
BuildMeter converts every input to a consistent internal unit, applies the selected allowance, and rounds products up to whole purchasable units.
Effective sheet coverage = (sheet width − side lap) × (sheet length − end lap). Divide waste-adjusted net wall area by effective coverage and round to full bundles.

FAQ
Stucco Lath Calculator questions
Why is effective coverage smaller than sheet area?+
Adjacent sheets overlap, so part of every sheet does not add new wall coverage.
Should all openings be deducted?+
Large openings can be deducted, but small openings and wrap details may create enough cutting loss that deduction does not reduce purchasing.
Does this include casing bead or corner reinforcement?+
No. Accessories, fasteners, flashing and control joints need separate takeoffs.
