Transparent calculation
BuildMeter converts every input to a consistent internal unit, applies the selected allowance, and rounds products up to whole purchasable units.
Total coat coverage = surface area × coats. Order coverage applies the waste factor. Bags = round up (order coverage ÷ coverage per bag per coat).

Why multiply area by the number of coats?+
Each coat uses material, so the surface area is counted once for every planned coat.
Can one coverage rate be used for every plaster?+
No. Base coat, finish coat and repair plasters can have very different thicknesses and yields.
Should damaged or uneven walls use more material?+
Often yes. Levelling irregular surfaces can increase average thickness and consumption.
