Transparent calculation
BuildMeter converts every input to a consistent internal unit, applies the selected allowance, and rounds products up to whole purchasable units.
Rows per bed are rounded from bed width and line spacing. Lateral length equals rows × bed length × bed count; header length and waste are added before rounding to full rolls.

Why can the row count be one more than width divided by spacing?+
The model places a line near both bed edges so the maximum spacing is not exceeded.
Does this size the irrigation zone flow?+
No. Multiply emitter count by emitter flow and verify pressure loss and maximum run length separately.
Is header tubing the same as emitter dripline?+
