Methodology

Transparent calculation

BuildMeter converts every input to a consistent internal unit, applies the selected allowance, and rounds products up to whole purchasable units.

Water per tree = trunk diameter × entered water factor. Event water multiplies by tree count; seasonal water multiplies by frequency and weeks.

No. Use local horticultural guidance and adjust for species, establishment stage, soil and weather.

Why calculate runtime from emitter flow?+

Runtime converts the target volume into an operating schedule for the installed emitters.

Should rainfall reduce the schedule?+

Usually yes. Effective rainfall and soil moisture should inform irrigation frequency.
