Transparent calculation

BuildMeter converts every input to a consistent internal unit, applies the selected allowance, and rounds products up to whole purchasable units.

Order volume = calculated volume × allowance. Truckloads are rounded up by truck capacity. Total = concrete material + delivery fees + applicable short-load fee + entered service-fee percentage.

Calculation steps

  1. 1Start with waste-adjusted order volume.
  2. 2Multiply by the quoted unit price.
  3. 3Add delivery, environmental, short-load and minimum-order fees.
  4. 4Add tax and contingency only where applicable.

Worked numerical example

An order of 8 yd³ at ₪620 per yd³ costs ₪4,960. Adding a ₪450 delivery fee and ₪300 short-load charge gives ₪5,710 before tax and waiting time.

Why add an order allowance?+

Subgrade variation, form movement, spillage and measurement differences can make the placed volume slightly higher than the geometric estimate.

What is a short-load fee?+

Some suppliers add a fee when an order is below their preferred minimum volume. Enter the threshold and fee from the quote.

Is concrete pumping included?+

No. Pump service, crane buckets or conveyor placement are separate from the ready-mix delivery allowance.
